Recently Logical Indian, a social media daily posted a bullet news about sanitary conditions in Indian schools. It states that Almost 3 percent (31,799) government schools in India do not have separate toilets for girls. Delhi records the maximum number of schools without girls’ toilets followed by Bihar, Sikkim and other states.
The World Bank estimates that 21 percent of communicable diseases in India are linked to unsafe water and the lack of hygiene practices.
