Asha for Education is driven by volunteers, and hand-picks organizations and projects to sponsor, which guarantees minimal overhead costs and ensures that every dollar has a large impact. I was fortunate to be deeply involved with Asha fund raising during college, and have performed site visits to projects in India, further inspiring my belief in the great work that Asha does. I’m glad to contribute in a different and exciting way–the Chicago Marathon–and look forward to improving the lives of some of India’s least fortunate children.
